Garden of Wonder

P.S.133 WILLIAM A. BUTLER SCHOOL

TYPOGRAPHY

PROBLEM

School gardens are not just for growing food. They have the ability to be havens for native plants and wildlife. But with so little information on our native ecosystems - neighbors, students, and parents are left wondering about the state of PS 133’s Garden of Wonder.

SOLUTION

Design a permanent and seasonal poster educating about native plants and wildlife, inspiring a positive mindset towards gardening, and cultivating community through driving donations and participation at events.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

Soft greens and oranges draw a relationship to nature’s color palette and rounded shapes create a welcoming and inviting environment.

Grouped content is easy to skin on the morning dog walk. Seasonal colors bring a festive mood and the CTA drives donations, aligning your values with your dollar.
